Overview

This scrub is made from coconut coir the coarse fibre from the outer husk of the coconut. It has a natural grip and a slightly rough texture that helps lift off dried food, oil, and residue without needing much pressure.

Unlike synthetic sponges, it doesn’t stay soggy for long. Rinse it, shake it out, and it dries quickly, which helps keep odour and buildup in check over time.

It’s firm when new, then softens slightly with use, settling into a more flexible scrub that’s easier to handle day to day. Still strong enough for heavy pots, but not harsh on regular utensils.

Over time, the fibres fray slightly at the edges, which actually improves how it cleans reaching into corners and uneven surfaces more easily.

Usage & Care

To reduce initial stiffness, pre-soak your scrub in warm water for 1-2 minutes before its very first use.

To maintain its effectiveness, rinse thoroughly after use and allow it to dry completely. Avoid prolonged soaking to extend its lifespan.
